Welcome to the Shirley Community Association web site.
On this site you will find details of all of the sections supported by the association and the
activities they undertake. To find out more about the association's facilities, activities or other
groups using the facilities, click on one of the buttons on the left hand side.
The Shirley Community Association is a registered charity. Registration number: 229066
The objectives of the Association are to promote, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Shirley and the
neighbourhood, without any form of discrimination, by associating local authorities, voluntary groups and
inhabitants, in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of
social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of
life for the inhabitants as determined by the association. |
Facilities at the Centre are normally available for the use of its members
and outside hirers between the hours of 9 a.m. and Midnight, Monday to Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
on Sunday.
In exceptional cases these hours may be extended. |
